HOME/BODY

This ongoing series pairs medium-format film photography with eco-printed textiles/mark making, framed together as a single composition. Each piece brings two ways of noticing into conversation: the slow, observational gaze of the camera and the tactile impressions left by leaves, time, and weather. The work reflects on ideas of home as something simultaneously internal and environmental — a felt sense of belonging, shaped by both memory and material. Drawing on concepts such as uchi (the inside or intimate space) and komorebi (the light filtered through leaves), these works consider how the body holds place, and how place leaves its trace on the body in return.
