For this collection of work, I took much of my inspiration from my everyday, colours I encounter on my early morning dog walks, marks left behind on the sidewalk and freeways - all these little fragments tell small stories of what came before it, and for me, that’s the fascination behind these found marks. Mark making is central to my own artistic practice - it embodies an intuitive response to the world around me.
